0800 Hrs: Meet at reception and Depart for Naivasha. At the reception, there will be a small briefing on the trip.
0900 Hrs: Great Rift Valley View Point. There are many stops at the edge of the trench, where safari cars usually stop to let the tourists see the steep hillside and the view. The Great Rift Valley is a continuous geographic trench that runs 6000 km from Syria to the border of Malawi/Mozambique. The lakes along the eastern part of Africa were formed as the result of the rift and contain some of the largest and deepest freshwater lakes in the world.
1000 Hrs: Sanctuary farm Visit: Nature Walk. You will be offered a welcome fresh juice, followed by a guided walk. Sanctuary Farm is a family run dairy & horse stud farm. A place where one can be as social or as private as one wants to be. It is a perfect place to ride, walk and cycle in a safe private environment, whilst enjoying the numerous species of wildlife and world class bird-life.
1300 Hrs: Lunch at the Club House. Our approach to food is to keep it simple, fresh and made from local produce as much as possible. We offer a simple lunch always starting off with a chilled soup, followed by a light fish or chicken dish with a selection of sensational, fresh salads, locally made cheese and a choice of homemade ice creams
1400 Hrs: Lake Naivasha Boat Ride. From boat trips on the lake you can get close to Cormorants drying their wings, Pink Backed Pelicans, Herons, colourful Kingfishers and Fish Eagles. Other birds seen around the lake include the Goliath Heron, Jacana, Great White Egret, White Fronted Bee-eater and the Saddle- billed Stork.
